Francis X. Murphy is a veteran insurance executive with more than six decades of experience in property and casualty insurance, agency leadership, and program development. He began his career with GEICO in 1963, establishing the foundation for a lifelong commitment to innovation, client service, and professional excellence in insurance and risk management.
Mr. Murphy spent a significant portion of his career in various sales and leadership roles at Allstate Insurance Company, where he became known for his integrity, technical expertise, and mentorship throughout the organization. Building on this success, he co-founded The Murphy Agency, a family-operated independent brokerage specializing in personal and commercial P&C insurance.
Continuing to expand his impact, he launched FXM Risk, a specialty insurance advisory and wholesale/retail brokerage that now operates as a licensed Managing General Agency (MGA) in all 50 states.
Today, Mr. Murphy serves as Senior Vice President at Insurant, where he leads strategic initiatives for one of the nation's leading lease-guarantee insurance programs. His distinguished career reflects a steadfast dedication to advancing insurance products that balance protection, performance, and innovation.
